Born and raised in Portland OR, James grew up working with his hands building and repairing just about anything you can think of. These days he’s focusing his skills on metalwork and carpentry that is beautiful as well as functional. When not playing with tools, he likes to hike, camp, mountain bike and take road trips. He is also an avid gardener, proud cat father and lover of all things Science Fiction.

Home renovations inevitably involve trash – most of the time, recyclable materials go straight to the landfill. It doesn’t have to be like that; TwoSaws takes the time to sort and recycle as much as possible (yes, even soft plastics!). Reusable items like light fixtures, cabinets and hardware are donated to the Rebuilding Center.
